Grand Ammungan Festival 2014 Schedule of Events

The provincial government of Nueva Vizcaya will hold the 6th Grand Ammungan Festival on May 21-24. 

The event, which is part of the 175th founding anniversary of Nueva Vizcaya, seeks to gather the ethnic tribes Isinai, Ibaloi, Kalanguya, Iwak, Gaddang, Bugkalot, Kankanaey, and Ifugao, including lowland inhabitants such as the Ilocanos, Tagalogs and Pangasinenses, among others. 

The week-long celebration will be highlighted on May 24, the foundation day of the province in accordance with the royal decree of Spain, which is declared as a special non-working holiday in the province.
