Pav-vurulun Festival 2014 Schedule of Activities | Tuguegarao City

To promote the culture of ‘togetherness’ and to establish a festival to be recognized nationwide, the local government of Tuguegarao City will hold the Pavvurulun Festival which will showcase ‘festival of fire’ for Tuguegarao is believed to have come from the word ‘Tugui’ which means fire. 

The Pavvurulun Festival is celebrated every August 16 in honor of Saint Hyacinth, the city's patron saint.
