Palanyog Festival
Palapas, Ligao City, Albay
The Local Government of Palapas launched the festival last October 2014 that showcase all the festive, lively, and colorful traditions of its people with the palay and coconut as the central theme of the celebration known as the “Palanyog Festival”. Palanyog was derived from the words palay (rice) and niyog (coconut). Palay at niyog has been the main produce products of the barangay ever since.
