Sonya's Garden in Alfonso, Cavite
Sonya's Garden is not easy to find, it is hidden in the gentle rolling hills of Tagaytay. The garden is often associated with Tagaytay, in fact it is located at Barangay Buck Estate in Alfonso, Cavite, 15 minutes away from Tagaytay City.
Sonya's Garden is not accessible by any public transportation, in short you must bring your own car.
At Sonya's Garden, there was a store, a panaderia (Must buy: Spanish bread, delicious!), a reception areas, restaurant, spa and of course there were rows and rows of plants.

How To Get To Sonya's Garden:

view from the Palace in the Sky in Tagaytay City
Palace in the Sky , the unfinished mansion of former President Ferdinand Marcos, has been converted and renamed the People's Park in the Sky . Without a doubt this offers the most speculator view of Taal volcano, no if, ands or buts about it!
The Palace in the Sky was built for the official state visit of the former US President and Mrs. Ronald Reagan, though the Reagan's cancelled their trip due to the general unrest and Marcos' problems at the time. Looking at the shell of the palace today, it's hard to imagine the opulence and splendor it enjoyed during its heyday. Hollywood stars like George Hamilton (seen with Imedla Marcos in the photograph below,) entertained the Marcos' and their cronies with such ostentatious and fragrant displays of wasting money, it became one of the final nails in the Marcos' political coffin. They must have had some wild and outrageous parties there!
