COSPLAY REVOLUTION this HALLOWEEN
October 31, 2012 | 7 pm
BAR 101, A. Bichara Silverscreens Entertainment Center, Legazpi City


A BICHARA SILVERSCREENS COSPLAY COMPETITION PROCEDURE:

1. All contestants must apply at the ABSEC office, submit BIODATA with photos of cosplay character from OCTOBER 8 to 22, 2012. 


2. Contestants must be present at the designated area 30 minutes before the contest proper on October 31, 2012. LATE ENTREES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED.

3. Each contestant’s presentation will be assessed by three (3) judges in the following criteria:
40% Craftsmanship
30% Characterization
20% Stage Performance
10% Audience Impact

4. Prizes will be awarded on the day of the event. Unclaimed prizes shall forfeited after five (5) days.

COSPLAY COMPETITION RULES AND REGULATIONS:

1. The cosplay competition is open to individuals ages 18 years old and above.

2. All participants shall submit BIODATA with a whole body picture of the character to be cosplay according to our THEME.

3. All contestants MUST present themselves in the costume of a CHARACTER from MOVIES of any genre (movies for the last 14 years from 1998 to 2012).

4. Should you be using audio for your performance, please ensure they are in format compatible with our acoustics and should be burned in a blank CD. Please make sure that a representative is present at the technical booth during your performance is multiple tracks will be played.

5. Contestants shall have a maximum of one (1) minute time limit for their performance. Exceeding the time provided by less than one minute will result in a minimum deduction in the overall score. Exceeding the time provided by MORE than one minute will result in a maximum deduction from over all score or even disqualification.

6. All props must be presented to STAFF of the COSPLAY competition. Failure to present weapons/props (harmless or otherwise) may result to a disqualification of a contestant.

7. The organizers reserve the right to adjust the rules of this competition in any way it sees fit and disqualify any entry for non-compliance with the rules outlined in this document.

8. The organizers further reserve the right to refuse entry/display of any costumes entered into the competition that they deemed inappropriate. The organizers also reserve that right to cut short any acts that they deem to be inappropriate. The Organizers still reserve the right to disqualify any contestants within reason. All organizer’s decision are final.

9. By entering the competition, the participant agrees to abide by all the terms and conditions as set out in this document. Participants who will NOT follow these rules shall be disqualified.

Cosplay Queen Alodia Gosiengfiao
     Cosplay, short for "costume play", is a type of performance art in which participants don costumes and accessories to represent a specific character or idea. 

     Characters are often drawn from popular fiction in Japan, but recent trends have included American cartoons and Sci-Fi. Favorite sources include manga, anime, tokusatsu, comic books, graphic novels, video games, hentai and fantasy movies.
