Albay’s GUICADALE Project Updates (July 2010)

Albay’s Guinobatan-Camalig-Daraga-Legazpi (GUICADALE) platform project. The project consists of circumferential road and new arterial roads cascading from the urban center of Guinobatan, Camalig, Daraga, Legazpi City and Jovellar. The project was designed to encourage economic activities safe from the threats posed by Mayon volcano eruptions, lahar flows, flooding and tsunamis. The expected benefit of the project include efficient access to the Bicol International Airport.

This project will eventually realize the goal to make Mega Daraga and Metro Albay.
