Pahiyas Festival in Lucban, Quezon Province


      The fiesta color of summer come alive as Lucban, Quezon celebrates the Pahiyas Festival every 15th of May in honor of San Isidro Labrador. The festival is referred to by many as a fiesta to end all fiestas.



      It is the farmers' thanksgiving for a bountiful harvest with a grand display of colorful rice wafers, fruits, vegetables, and handicrafts adorning every house in the town.


Getting to Lucban


By Car | From Manila take the South Luzon Expressway and exit in any of the following routes:

  • Exit 52a (Lucena, Legazpi, Batangas exit) | Towns to pass, Sto. Tomas Junction - Alaminos - San Pablo - Tiaong - Candelaria - Sariaya - Lucena City - Tayabas - Lucban | Travel Time: 3 - 4 hours
  • Exit 52b (Calamba, Los Banos, Pagsanjan exit) | Towns to pass, Calamba - Los Banos, Bay - Pila - Sta. Cruz - Pagsanjan - Cavinti - Luisiana - Lucban | Travel Time: 3 hours
By Bus | Commercial buses ply the three-hour Manila-Lucena route passing Tiaong, Candelaria and Sariaya or the Manila-Calamba-Los Banos-Sta. Cruz route.

      Sa darating na ika-30 ng Nobyembre 2013 ay ipagdiriwang ng mga anak ng Bayang Pilipinas ang ika-150 anibersaryo ng kapanganakan ng Ama ng Himagsikang Bayan na si Gat Andres Bonifacio. Mabuhay ang mga Anak ng Bayan!

The Church of St. Louis, Bishop of Toulous (Lucban, Quezon)


          The Church of St. Louis, Bishop of Toulous is located in Lucban, Quezon Province. It was constructed in 1593 but destroyed in 1629. The second church was constructed in 1630, but gutted by fire in 1733 and reconstructed in 1738. During World War II the church was partly destroyed and renovated by the Philippine Historical Commission in 1966. It is surrounded by gardens, grottos and stone walls called quince-quince. It enshrined the  image of San Isidro Labrador.

        Kamay ni Hesus Shrine, built on a hilltop in the province of Quezon in the town of Lucban. It is an ideal destination for tourists and pilgrims not only during the holy week and simbang gabi but during the whole ecclesiastical year.

Lucban Longganisa



        Lucban Longganisa, is very popular in Quezon Province. It is a garlicky slightly sour sausage that is quite similar to chorizo de bilbao, the famous garlic sausage from Spain.
