Featured Photos | Miss Earth candidates plant trees in CamSur


    The Miss Earth 2011 candidates roamed around in the province of Camarines Sur to uphold the pageant's advocacy, which is no less than caring for Mother Earth.

      They visited LRV Agri-Science Farm, Inc. in the town of Calabanga for a quick photo shoot and they also engaged in a tree planting activity.

Karangahan - Green Christmas Photography Contest 2011

    Junior Chamber International Legazpi Chapter in cooperation with The Provincial Government of Albay, Karangahan Execom, Albay Tourism Office, Liga ng mga Barangay, Gov. Joey Sarte Salceda, brings you KARANGAHAN - GREEN CHRISTMAS PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST 2011, A Photo Contest in Albay, capturing the true Albayano spirit of ingenuity and creativeness in celebrating a green Christmas



 
   Photo entries should be taken within the period of November 15 to December 17, 2011. Entry Forms, Rules and Regulation and Submission of Entries will be at Ely's Studio Pacific Mall, Legazpi City. Awarding of winners will be on December 20, 2011, 4 pm at Penaranda Park, Legazpi City. Deadline of submission of entries will be on December 17, 2011.

The Provincial Capitol of Pampanga


           The Pampanga Capitol is the seat of the provincial government of Pampanga. The original building was constructed shortly after the provincial capital of Pampanga was transferred from Bacolor to San Fernando in 1904. 

           The monuments of Benigno 'Ninoy' Aquino Jr., Don Honorio Ventura, Chief Justice Jose Abad Santos, Maximino Hizon and Diosdado Macapagal are all found here.

Metropolitan Cathedral of San Fernando City, Pampanga

         
         The Metropolitan Cathedral of the City of San Fernando, Pampanga is the seat of the Archdiocese of San Fernando. The Cathedral is located within the Heritage District of the city at A. Consunji Street in Barangay Sto. Rosario, fronting the City Hall.

Taal Volcano




        Taal Volcano is an active volcano located in Talisay and San Nicolas in Batangas. It is about 60 km  from Manila, the capital of the Philippines.  Right at the center of the island is the main crater that holds a sulfuric lake. It is famous for having an island in a lake on an island in a lake on an island in the Pacific Ocean.

Balicasag Island in Bohol


           Balicasag Island is a low and flat coral island located in Bohol that is famous as a marine sanctuary and place for snorkeling and diving. It is a 45 minute boat ride from Whites and Greens Beach Resort in Libaong, Panglao  and 20 minute boat ride from Virgin Island

Koi at Nuvali

       Koi fish or more specifically Nishikigoi, literally "brocaded carp" are the product of several centuries of selective breeding of the common brown Asian carp and the German carp. 




         Koi are available in all colors from the purest white, through yellow, orange, red, blues, near-lavander, greens and coal black, in limitless combinations.

      This art-deco dominated capitol was constructed during the American colonial period, in 1930's. It is located along the national highway in Malolos City.
