The Provincial Capitol of Pampanga


           The Pampanga Capitol is the seat of the provincial government of Pampanga. The original building was constructed shortly after the provincial capital of Pampanga was transferred from Bacolor to San Fernando in 1904. 

           The monuments of Benigno 'Ninoy' Aquino Jr., Don Honorio Ventura, Chief Justice Jose Abad Santos, Maximino Hizon and Diosdado Macapagal are all found here.

Metropolitan Cathedral of San Fernando City, Pampanga

         
         The Metropolitan Cathedral of the City of San Fernando, Pampanga is the seat of the Archdiocese of San Fernando. The Cathedral is located within the Heritage District of the city at A. Consunji Street in Barangay Sto. Rosario, fronting the City Hall.

Aliwan Fiesta: Ibon-Ebon Festival of Candaba, Pampanga



      The Ibon-Ebon Festival is an annual festival held in Candaba, Pampanga. Also known as the Birds and Eggs Festival, as “Ibon” means birds while “ebon” means eggs. 



     It is celebrated in honor of the local patron saint, San Nicolas de Tolentino. The feast of San Nicolas de Tolentino has been believed to be in connection with the migration of tarat to Candaba.
