1. Qualifications
• The artist has no age limit.

2. Competition Requirements/Judging Guidelines
• Completed Registration Form as provided by the Municipal Tourism Office of Daraga.
• Sketch and Synopsis to be submitted on or before February 6, 2012 at the Municipal Tourism Office. It should be in short size bond paper enclosed in a short brown envelope.
• The paint should depict the theme of CAGSAWA RUINS.
• Artist should provide a sketch of his/her entry & synopsis to explain the details of the body art.
• Judges Decision is final.
• Each artist must provide their own materials for painting and provide their own model/s.
• Date of Competition is on February 8, 2012, 7:00am to 11:00am, Wednesday, at Cagsawa Ruins Park.

DRUM CORPS COMPETITION



GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR PARTICIPATION

• Participation to the Drum and Bugle Corps Competition shall be Province-wide, to be extended to all elementary, secondary and tertiary educational institutions in the Province of Albay.

• An entry form should be filled-out and shall be submitted to the Secretariat:

Daraga Tourism Office, 2nd Floor Municipal Building, Daraga, Albay

• The contest shall be open to elementary, secondary and tertiary schools. The contest will be held on February 20, 2012, 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon at the Daraga Covered Court. The parade will start at exactly 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon. Assemble Point: 12:30 noon at Bicol University Campus grounds.

• Each participating school is given five (5) to seven (7) minutes Exhibition including entrance and exit. A deduction of one (1) point overtime/exceeding time will be made from the total points earned.

• The decision of the judges is final and irrevocable.

• This contest is open to all Albayanos aging from 16 – 21 years old

• Original birth certificate and one (1) Xerox copy. (Original certificate will be returned after validating the Xerox copy)

• One (1) passport size colored picture

• Contestant will bring his/her canned music accompaniment during the elimination.
