Singkaban Festival of Malolos, Bulacan

    Singkaban Festival is a weeklong festival of arts and culture in honour of the patron saint of the province, Our Lady of Victory. The festival showcases the traditional arts of “Balagtasan”, folk dances and “kundiman” amidst a display of Singkaban arches.

    A singkaban is a decorated arch made from wood, specifically from bamboo, which serves as a signage of entrance of a municipality or a province. For Bulakenyos, the word is short for “Sining at Kalinangan ng Bulacan.”

      Barasoain Church, also known as Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, is a Roman Catholic church in Paseo del Congreso, Barangay San Gabriel, Malolos City, Bulacan built in 1630. It is the most important religious building in the Philippines and the site of the First Philippine Republic.

North Luzon Expressway

The North Luzon Expressway (NLE or NLEx), formerly called North Diversion Road, is a 4 to 8-lane limited-access toll expressway that connects Metro Manila to the provinces of the Central Luzon region in the Philippines. It is one of the two branches of the Radial Road 8 (R-8) of Metro Manila (Quirino Highway is the other).
